Hays47 - Let's put it this way, I DID IT!!!! But I TOTALLY AGREE with the below statement:
OK, it took me more then 5 minutes because I had a hard time getting the protective cover off the plug inside the terrova. Reading the book and getting the plug cover off both took longer than the install.
Man, there was no info or pic telling me that YANKING off that little yellow cap and the other cap, would allow the two cables to connect and I was worried I was wrecking something. SO, you know you won't, so grab on with pliers or whatever and yank them off, other than that, it's truly less than a 5 minute job!!!
I sure like hearing the good comments on this HUGE investment I made... Sunday I'll get to test it.

Has anyone tried finding a PD V2 #55 with I-pilot in stock anywhere? Or has anyone been able to buy one yet?

Alot of places list them, but have "0" in stock. Is that size THAT popular?!?

I would like to buy the I-Pilot for my Power Drive V2. It’s new product in France and it's a very beautiful product.
I have several questions about this:
- Can one keep the pedal of use?
- I would like to buy this product in US, the notice is in French?
- the installation is easy, for PDV2 (I see on the web 24 etaps to install PDV2)
- Who have got the see of the installation for PDV2 (in the manual).
sorry for my English.

Took the plunge!!! Called and ordered mine from bass pro. They showed having only one in stock and couldn't be certain by the time my order processed that it would be mine. Called them today and was glad to find out they were shipping it to me today.
Now I know what my weekend plans will consist of.

Earl, did you also buy the quick disconnect plate to attach your troller to the boat? Not sure I'll bother with that since I dont hardly ever go on out of town trips anymore with boat in tow, sleeping in motels.

Bill at Fishermans Friend was very helpful and gave me a fair price on the trolling motor I bought from him. Also he is the only Minn Kota dealer I talked to that knew a thing about the product they were selling. He will get all of my buisness in the future. Boyce.

Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!
