Default MinnKota 74 stuck on "Hi"

When I went out today I suddenly realized my MinnKota 74 had only one speed...Full Speed! Didn't matter where the "wheel" was set... 100% or "Off" same result... Kinda dangerous trying to find your way through a stump field at full power...

Any ideas on where to start looking for the problem? Should I just take it to an authorized service center or could it be something small that I might fix? Any ideas appreciated.

Probably the board. An ASC is probably your next step.

If its a PD you could borrow someone's pedal and try that. If not here is MK's service manual. Do you work on your own Minnkota?
