Default Lcg 2000 Verses Lcg 3000

I am looks to buy a LCG 28C head Unit only and I have A LCG 17 unit but the differance is the GPS module, I have is the 2000. Can any one tell me if the unit will work ok with my existing gps and transducer also see the unit has dual frequency cabaibilty and I have the PD-WBL Transducer with remote temperture. Will any of this stuff work with the color unit, sure would like a color unit at the driver seat.

the gps will work, i don't think the temp will work. i think you'll have to get an adapter cable to hook up the gps antenna

My understanding is that the LGC-2000 and 3000 are identical except they use a different connector. Lowrance sells an adapter.
