Default Quick mount TERROVA or permanent?

New motor will be here Monday. Should I quick mount or not and why?

Question is do you have a reason to remove, or do you have a reason to slide motor back when launching or loading. I'm all for hard mounting unless there is a good reason not to. Can you post a picture of your boat around bow and winch stand? And about how motor would be mounted.

I thought about doing a slide of mount on mine .... but figured it would make it easier to steal ... so I bolted it down.

I love my quick release bracket! Takes about 5 seconds to remove or put on, I have to leave my boat in an outside storage facility.

It won’t hit the winch. It’s kept in my locked shop. Only time I would remove it would be to duck hunt out of the boat and I haven’t use this boat for that in 5 years.

I’m just going to bolt it down. Kinda what I figured I’d do but making sure I wasn’t missing some other benefits.
    Thanks

I mounted mine on a sliding mount. I slide it back on some of the steep ramps or it will hit the winch when it comes off. There are 2 holes that line up I can put a lock in if I need to.

Yep, at some ramps, it will bang the roller.
