    Default New Terrova to 999si

Think I’m fixing to order a Terrova with link. I have a 999si that I want to hook to it. What cable do I need and do I really need the us2 ducer built in? I still plan to use my Si ducer on the front. Right now it’s mounted on the side but I’d rather have it on the motor if possible.

if you plan on using the SI on the troller then you don't really need the US2 as it's only regular 2D sonar and SI won't work on it. If you use the SI 'ducer then it's just a push of a button to see 2D no extra cables to hook up. That said, if you ever sell it then the 2D will get you a little better price.

If you are talking about hooking link to motor I think you will need a Ethernet cable but don't know which one and may need a adapter. Hopefully someone smarter than me will get on here and point you in right direction.

iLink comes with an Ethernet cable ...

You will need the AS EC QDE Ethernet adapter cable to connect the 999 ...

As others have said US2 is not necessary if you're gonna use the SI xducer on the TM because the SI xducer also does 2d ...

Brian at BBG hooked me up.

He said he didn’t think the new models had the groove to run the ducer cable down the shaft.
