Thread: Terrova Install Questions

OK... waiting on parts to repair current TM. If not successful, will buy the new Terrova BT iPilot Link model. Have a few questions...

1.) Does the Spot Lock really work?
2.) I'm assuming I can use current power cable. How hard is it to get to motor control board to swap?
3.) Will Link model work with 898 with latest firmware? (Have 898 and Helix 12 Gen1 connected with Ethernet cable.)
4.) Currently have Humminbird GPS pucks with Compass. Do I need to install Minn Kota compass?
5.) Will I need an Ethernet switch?
6.) What am I forgetting?

1 Yes not like an anchor and gusting winds will effect it more.
2 Yes and four screws under the head to remove top cover.
3 Yes only need Ethernet if wanting to connect all 3 together.
4 Yes and No if you want jog feature to work then yes.
