Default Installing new sonar on Tracker

I'm planning on installing a new sonar on my 2007 PC 175 to replace the one at the console. It looks like there's a cover that runs from the back to up near the drivers seat that can be removed to get to the wires. Then there's the next panel where the throttle control is located and the wires go through there to the plastic console. There's screws on the panel, but I'm not sure about how hairy it could get taking this section apart with that controller on there, anybody have any experience/advice on tackling this section? Also once I get the transducer wire through to the console,I'm going to have to get the power wires to the new unit tied into some power.I'm hoping to trace and see where the old units wires are tied in and again asking if anyone has any advice/experience with this. Thanks!

Use a snake, feed from console to back and pull wires threw with it.
Or if you already have power wires and transducer wire from old unit, tie a piece of string on them at console wrapped with electrical tape and pull transducer and power wire out from back with string attached and pul new wires back threw with string.

That is a cover. Take the throttle panel off, it has like 6 screws buried in the carpet. Along the edge of the top deck is a piece that looks like a 2×2 with carpet. That is the covers.
