    Default Hdsi for helix 7

I know my unit doesn't support the full freq. But was wondering if it's worth the 200 to add it? I am not impressed with my unit as is. I can't get it right and kinda wonder if my factory ducer may be defective anyhow. I can't pick hardly pick up structure let alone fish. But that aside. Worth the upgrade for a 7?

How old is your unit? I was having trouble with my helix 5 SI. I could not get the display settings correct. Even though it was over a year old, hummingbird agreed to check out the transducer for me. After they evaluated it, they sent me a new transducer, which really cleared up the image.

You can go to the hummibird website and contact support. I'm sure they will help you out...
