    Default Minkota new i-pilor

    I. Looking to buy new trolling motor w/ NEW spot. If buying from E-bay how do I know I'm getting the latest model?

    2. Putting it on a 19' 2007 Tahoe 4.3 v6 inboard/outboard dry weight of 2346 lbs. Will a 55 lbs. unit handle this boat?

First thing don't buy off eBay. Call Brian at BBGMarine.. Second don't think the 55 would do much on that heavy a boat. I would do the 80. Unless you could get the serial number off the motor your buying and calling Minkota no telling what you will get. Lots of the older motors still out there.

BBG Marine does not show the 70# with I-pilot and US2 (transducer). I sure do not like the transducer cord raping around shaft anymore!

the best way to make sure you are getting the correct motor would be go to the Minn Kota website. Choose which model you want. Then go to the build my motor. Once you complete that process at the end it will show you the price and it will give the upc number and model. these will be the code and numbers you need to look for when purchasing

when you are done these are the upc and product codes you will need...This is for an ulterra just for example

That link was for a Minn Kota Terrova 80/US2 Trolling Motor w/i-Pilot & Bluetooth - 24V-80lb-60" and shows 22 in stock when I clicked it? Believe the OP has selected Terrova model as indicated in separate later post.
