did you charge the new batteries before using them?? Sometimes new ones will show charge but be very low.
This is more than likely something I messed up but if so I need some help either way. I just put some new Trolling batteries in my boat and replaced them one at a time putting the wires right back where they went. Well I tried to use my Trolling motor for the first time today and the remote says motor not found nor does the foot control work. The lights on the motor that show battery power light up bright red but the green light that says system ready doesn't come on. I have checked my wiring in the back and I know it's correct. I don't have a volt meter though so I'm not sure if maybe I got a bad battery. I'm going to call minn Kota tomorrow and hopefully they can help out. Anybody ever had an issue like this?

Try re-finding the remote? I hate it when things go bad. I am intolerant.

May need to deploy the tm. Don't see why but it's worth a shot
