Default Setting a track on a terrova

I was trying to set a track on my terrova and when I would hit start, in a few seconds the tm would shut off. What am I doing wrong?

You also need to select or designate the track you are recording as A B or C, as mine is old and only has 3 tracks. Newer models have 6 tracks available .
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

When you want to start a track hit record. I hold the record button down until it beeps. That will set it on A. If you want to set another one and keep that one hit record twice and B will start to flash then hold button down again and it will lock B. To stop recording a track just hit record button once and it will stop. At the end of the track to go back just turn boat around and hit start and it will start searching for track and take you back to where you started. Then hit end and it will take you back to where you stopped recording.

Thanks, I wasn't even close to right. I guess I need to sit down and read the entire 100+ page manual. Then I can really be confused.

In your book there should have been a hard plastic covered cheat sheet short book. I keep mine in the boat for reference. Lists all the things it will do in short how to notes.
