    THE NEW HELIX 7 SERIES

One look at the HELIX™ 7 Series and there’s no mistaking its Humminbird DNA. Packed to the gills with technology, the HELIX 7 is easy to use, dependable under any circumstances and unbelievably clear, bright and fast—not to mention built right here in the United States. Experience jaw-dropping 480x800 resolution and 1500 nit brightness, delivering a clear and precise picture of fish and fish-holding structure. The ultra-wide 16:9 ratio gives you ample room to view two screens side-by-side, making fishing and navigating easier. The built-in quick-release gimbal mount makes angle adjustments and removal easy. No matter your target. No matter conditions. Game on.

    CLEARER
See structure, contours and fish arches pop off the screen. And, goodbye glare. Our glass-bonded display delivers maximum readability in full sun.

    WIDER
We’ve turned the underwater world on its side. Easily view cartography and sonar imagery next to one another in widescreen format.

    BRIGHTER
Whether it’s overcast or sunny, there’s no drop off in readability thanks to our brightest screens yet.*

    FASTER
Gentlemen, start your engines. We’ve upped the D-RAM of the entire Helix 7 line-up, delivering faster map loading and screen refresh.*

This is my test unit. Really impressed with how fast it works and how bright the screen is. If you've used any core unit this will be an effortless change. The pages, menus and features are all very familiar.

Diel, you should be able to answer this question. It comes up everywhere. What is the 3rd plug on the Helix for?
