Caesars Creek Skunked
Crappie-Pickgal;
Don't even bother with Caesars this time of year.I've fished it for over 20 years now and here's what i do know or at least what i think i know.In the spring when the water gets to around the 50 degree mark, fish the creek arms clear up until early June for crappies. I have caught them as early as the beginning of February in the snow, to as late as early June.You may even pick up a Saugeye-Walleye or large mouth bass.As for the fall i don't seem to do as good, but a friend of mine that does, says to wait until October for decent crappies.This friend knows of what he speaks.He's forgot more about fishing than i'll ever know.Just my 2 cents worth.
