Default Rise Up

Hello to all my friends up in Ohio. You may have seen my posts on www.gofishohio.com

Anyway, since I retired, we moved to Fairfield Alabama. I'm here to tell you that Mogadore, Wingfoot, West Branch, Mosquito all have nice Crappies, but here down south, the Bream are even larger than Ohio Crappies.

An average crappie down here is about 1.72 pounds and about 11-13 inches. Now I know why they call Weiss Lake the "Crappie capitol of the world." Logan Martin Lake and Lay Lake where they held the 2007 Bass Classic aren't too shabby for Crappies either.

I am hearing great reports about the Browns this year. I know they wil have a great season. I invite all of you to visit my webpage and sign my guestbook.

take care.

old ship.

Yeah Ship. those 'bama crappies are nice, no doubt. A question about your Brownies though...Who's gonna play quarterback for them this year? They can't keep Brady Quinn on the bench forever with all the $$$ they are paying him. And you can't have your starter looking over his shoulder all season. I'm a Notre Dame fan and a Bengals fan, so once Quinn takes over for the Browns it will be tough for me. I want to see him do well, just not twice a year. Anyway, good look with those southern slabs. We got those big ones up here too, we just have to work harder for them.

Look for Brady to be starting by mid season! I think DA is good but he's got to cut down on mistakes and interceptions. They have patiently paid Brady a lot of money to learn. Now he must produce.

By the way, we work just as hard for the crappies down here as you do in Ohio. The reward at the end of the line is nice. Take care my friend.

Most NFL teams envy the Browns QB situation. They are paying 2 solid QB's less money than some teams are paying 1 starter alone! Not a bad deal at all. Anderson has earned the job. Brady would have to be able to play lights out fantastic to take the job and I don't see that out of Quinn. Don't forget that Quinn is a guy who never won a big game in college so now he is supposed to become a superstar at the NFL level? Again, I don't see it?
