Today they wanted a wide variety.

I tried several baits that were on the back burner. The pink split tail was on fire for a half hour, then nothing. Not sure if they like it or just wanted it out of the neighborhood.

All were fished on that 1/32 chart jig.

Even ole'whiskers chewed on it.
It was the countdown method. 8-9 seconds, then slow swim, the way my friend FD showed me.

They are still on the shad pattern and had full bellies. Took a few for dinner this week. The shad are right at 3" long. 1 had 2 full shad and some parts of others and still hit my jig. The shallow bite wasn't working for me today.
