Well this was a disappointment to me, only 3 boats. I really would have like to seen more people getting involved by now. Just ask any of the regulars we have fun and have been getting some nice slabs. I do know some other events are now going on with better purses but I have done well so far.
Well Mark and Steven Brooks won with 6.8 lbs and big slab with 12.5 over 1 lb. Jon Simmerman and Chris Conte took 2nd and Frank and I was 3rd. I had a real bad day out there but it was a beautiful day.
Next week will be at Leesville from Petersburg Landing, This is one of our best crappie lakes in the region. I really hope more of you come and join in.
