Thread: Meeting in 2 weeks

Just a reminder we will be having the meeting for those interested in joining
the EBCC. It will be at Tappan Marina @ 12:00 noon March 18th. I am hoping for a good turn out. I hope to see and meet some of you there. Check out the website for tournament schedule and entry forms for membership and tournaments. check out all the pages. Thanks guys

i wish you well with the crappie club, i WAS interested in fishing some of the tourneys, however the entry fees are WAY to rich for me. i run a small club where we have a $10 a year fee for all members and people absolutely throw a fit about that. i truly hope things go well for you and i will be watching for tourney results and such this summer. are the club fees in your club for operating expenses or are they for plaques and awards and such ?? i am not asking to be a pain , im just curious, maybe im going about running my club the wrong way. maybe i should charge more for entry into the club so i dont have so many out of pocket expenses. then if people dont like it they dont have to enter.

I like your tournament schedule all lakes are with in 1.5 hours from me and with me being a beginner should be alot of fun.

The fees do help to cover expense of tournament and such. MWCD now charges $25 minimum for each event. Also for your membership you will receive a club hat and a package of blakemore lures. The tournaments are 100% pay-back. 50% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 3rd and BnM Poles are donating an additional $100.00 to the 1st place team. So, say we have only 10 boats, $30.00 x 10= $300 x .50% =$150+ BnM's $100= $250 for 1st place.
NOT BAD FOR A CRAPPIE TOURNAMENT AROUND HERE. Again 100% pay-back
