yes guys sometimes the fish do not want no action at all to know if you guys are familiar with the silverfish but I use a 1 inch size there is little or no tail action just a little bit of vibration in the fish go crazy over it this fall I won't have to pull some pictures for you to see what we're talking about but for many years here locally they use a little jig made out of fibers from feathers no action a little bit of vibration these jigs were about 180s very small but this is what the fish were hitting apparently they were eating small fry or something similar so this is why we should all carry no action plastics or some type of Jig that has no action I believe in warmer water when the temperatures get up about 65 the fish will be more tempted to take more action type of plastics this is very good information definitely on this post guys I'm sure that people will learn a lot by reading good job guys.

Whether you call it a "carrot", "bullet", or "Hot Rod" .... that style of plastic bait WILL CATCH FISH. The member known as Slabeye makes the Slab-a-nator jigs, and calls his version of this shape a Hot Rod. He makes them in 3" - 2.5" - 1.75" (the 3" & 1.75" are recent additions). (see the last page of posts here - http://www.crappie.com/crappie/-memb...-crappie-jigs/ )

They're perfect. Nice thing about the bullet is action variety:
Twitch them fast like you would a Zara Spook and the lure zig zags - darts back and forth; twitch in place, the lure's tail trembles; use the rod tip to hop & drop ; use rod tip or reel handle to pull the lure forward between the other actions glidelike.

This stick below demonstrates the same exact action of a wacky rigged Senko, but must have a small jig to pull it down faster enough that the tips quiver.

Thanks. I’ll look for those. I don’t see the x-mas glitter, black smoke or the watermelon brn on do-it’s web store. Is there a “one stop shop” that usually have a complete lineup of the various manufacturers products or am I looking at ordering from multiple suppliers?
