Ill see if i can figure out how to post pictures from my phone. I did wipe out the mold didnt appear to be dirty and only hand tightened the screws that seemed to help as much as anything. I pour the plastic into the injector then shoot the air out into the cup before i shoot into mold and i do keep the hole filled up when its cooling off..

The 8 cavity that you have has plenty of extra plastic in the sprue so you don't need to top it off , nor does the 4 cavity for that matter . It's sounding to me that your not getting enough plastic into the mold . Loosening the screws shouldn't be necessary and it's designed for those screws to be tight . None of my molds need much pressure and there is plenty of ventilation in that design to evacuate the air , and just a regular full shot of plastic should suffice . The fact that it shot well for you before now has me wondering if there are other factors are involved . Have you gone to a thick plastic , bad injector seal ???? .
I wouldn't pour the plastic into the injector then try to burp the air out , because after you put the tip on and tip it down to burp the air out , the air bubble could rise as your tilting the injector down into the cup . I usually suck up the plastic from the cup then shoot . Maybe others may disagree with me on this , but it's just a thought since I've never tried filling that way
Like I said earlier , just contact me and I'm sure we'll figure out what the problem is

I have had this issue with molds and if it worked before and is messing up now, sounds to me you are not cleaning the mold good. Residue buildup in it will cause this issue. And yes always heat your molds up

I never heat my molds. I always suck my plastic up from the cup i do heat my injector good and warm. Pull slow to fill injector u can pull air in when u force it. If u are not getting any flash when u tighten lite hand tight that maybe the way to go. U might want to run a pick down the vents. Did u change brands of plastic. Or switch to a different gallon. Might mist your mold with a little worm oil. Just drawing straws.LOL Cub48
