    Default NO DAWGS ALLOWED

I know this is a Crappie forum, and these CERTANLY AREN'T CRAPPIE LURES
These are my "BIG DAWGS" they measure in at a svelt 6 1/4" X 3 1/4" with a 3/8" thick body
Some 30 years ago I aquired one ( I dunno where) in a Floro Chartuese By the time I retired it
It only had 1 leg left, and didn't pull the fish like it used to...That bait was a Fish magnet
(That was at least 20 years ago)
When I worked up the mold I made the legs WAY TO THICK, So I've been filling them with glue to
    thin them down a bit
I fish them with 3/8 to 3/4oz. Banjo heads (Like a Beetle spin head) Unfortunately...
I have made so many SOFTIES last winter These BAD BOYS haven't had much water time
Well guys the rain stopped, have to make supper, go to bed so I can hit the river in the morning

That is a big plastic bait. Finding what works for your style of fishing is a blessing and when you can pour your own that is the topping on the cake. Thanks for sharing your mold and baits.

Those are bigger than most fish I catch ,let us know if they still do the job they did in the olden days.
