Mepperson, is your mold for making senko tails? Are you looking for tails that are not as long or tails that are smaller in diameter? Pop

Those are the tails for a 7.5 full round worm. I'd like to find one that is smaller in diameter and it could be a little bit shorter. Those are 1 inch, 3/4 would be perfect.

This guy on ebay makes 2" senko's, if you could make a mold like this and put in the changes to what you want that might work by just pouring the bottoms. or set up what you have now to a custom mold maker and get a custom injection mold.

Well, I am already talking to someone but I'm still on the lookout just in case that doesn't pan out. I want a specific mold and don't want to half way do it and end up with subquality looking stuff. Thanks for the advice though.

As far as the length I know it might be a little trouble but couldnt you just cut off about 2 rings from the top and then remelt the scrap

It's really the diameter that's too large. Put a small hook in it and there's very room in the throat of the hook.

Try bearsbaits.com. They make a senko tip mold that probably would not take much to shorten up. Would probably be just what you are looking to accomplish. Pop

Sorry, but I'm a tad bit of a novice on worms. Are senkos a brand or type of soft bait worm? Bear is checking the tips out for me.

Senkos are a brand that became so popular for bass that the name now identifies a particular style worm. Your bait looks like the tail end of the Senko. They are probably the most expensive worm on the market. So expensive I bought a knock off mold at little over a hundred dollars. If you google the name Senko you will be able to see what they look like. If you looked on the Bear website you could see the mold for the tips. What alot of guys do is make different color tips (tails), put them in the mold and pour whatever color worm they want to go with the tail. Your bait is just the tail. Mold should be cheaper. Good Luck, Pop

The tail I have is for a full round 7.5 worm. Bear is supposed to be checking for smaller tips for me. Thanks for all of the info.
