It is plastic pipe. You see it usually on the side of the road on a roll. Find where someone is doing utility construction and they will normally give you the last little bit that is on the roll. My dad is a fiber optic contractor with a yard in Plano, Tx . He has a mountian of scraps left over from over the years. It is real easy to work with, but not quite as ridgid as pvc.
