Question cedars

I'm going to sink some cedar trees this weekend. Does it take alot of weight to sink a 8ft. cedar tree? Do they stand up when sank if you put weight on the bottom or do i need to put something that floats on the top to stand them upright? I've been sinking pvc condos and use 30 lbs on concrete.
Thanks in advance
Bruce

It will take more weight than one thinks to sink a 8' tree, As fish-wva said 50-60 # will sink it,If you use concrete blocks it will take at least two of them.
If you go with the blocks I would put a float at the top to make it stand.
