hey guys i am new to the site and this is my first post. i am really thankful that i found this site because i new next to nothing before i got here. i have learned alot from you guys just by reading all the posts. what a wealth of info !!!! i wanted to know if anyone is farmiliar with the rules on setting out brushpiles in virginia waters? i am mainly talking about kerr and the city lakes. kerr mostly. the corp. of engineers will not return any phone calls and what i read said that dgif is where you need to ask. dgif said just talk to the corp. of engineers. i put christmas trees out in kerr a long time ago but that was fifteen years ago. i know times have changed. i rolled right past the guard shack at north bend park after paying to camp and they did not say a word to me. can't be that easy these days. maybe it is.
