Default Bucket stake beds

Has anyone ever put out bucket stake beds? I have put 25 in the past 2 weeks. We fill a 5 gal. bucket almost full of quickcrete. Then take wooden stakes 14 to 15 per bucket and make a funnel shape. We leave 2 standing straight up in the bucket. When we put them out we drop 3 or 4 in one spot. They are easy to carry and put out, we are getting the stakes from a local cabinet shop. The only money we are out is for the quickcrete. However if Lowes have busted bags they will sell them to you for $1.00. GOD BLESS

you mean like this? I saw some more somewhere on the site too but I don't have the time to find them right now. Try using the search function. It is a very powerful tool that helps you find info on here fairly expediently and it keeps the site a bit cleaner by doing away with superfluous threads.

pointless threads on forums are a pet peev of mine. Makes it harder to find what you need when you do use the search function.

so what if the guy wanted some fresh ideas and some insight from new members who have yet to voice their opinion on "bucket stake beds". How about leaving the arrogance at the log-in page and relax. A person should be able to post as he pleases with out someone calling it a "pointless" thread. If this thread would be considered pointless I guess all the "attaboys" would be considered trash too huh?

I hardly thought that this was arrogant and I never said the post was "trash." I noticed that macliljim did not have a very high post count and thought that it was possibly that he (or she) did not know about the search function here on the crappie.com forums.

He also asked "Has any one ever..." From that statement it was a pretty good indication that he hadn't looked around much because the link I posted was from the very first page of the structure sub-forum. I was just wanting to point him in the right direction where he may find threads that provided answers to his questions without starting a completely new one.

The site, with all of its recent growth (a good thing), has gotten noticebly slower to load. If we don't do our best to keep things concise and tidied up the site will get slower and the owner will either have to go through and delete old posts or buy more storage space.

I have seen this happen on much larger forums than this one and just want ot help keep this forum running fast so it doesn't take forever to load or start costing the owner more to run it.

Sorry if i stepped on any ones toes. I would hope that the moderator of this forum would close and delete this thread because, again, it is not constructive and does not hold any real crappie knowledge.
