    Hey dentist, they BLOW UP ON MY SCREEN-Looks like a giant mushroom. I'll post a few pics next time I remember to take some on the water. You can also add a few metal pipes in each one to help reflect the sonar.

    I learned a lot from this and your other posts on this subject. Thanks again. Now where am I gonna put a tractor trailor load of pipe? The reuseable base is so cool. Saves money and time.

    You said you throw them in. Does the weight of the concrete & the parachute effect of the pvc make them land upright? No rope?

    Oh with the 70 pounds at one end it will 100&#37; of the time land the correct way. I get the 70 pounds about chest level and really give it a good toss so it hits and hits hard (makes a big splashdown) and shoots to the bottom and hopefully locks into the mud.
