    someone told that they would become waterlogged also. but my aunt and uncle have a place on smith lake. they have some under their dock that are still floating between 2 and 3 years.

    its all good thinking, it should work
    fine until something heavier then
    those floats get caught up and
    bring it straight down,

    winter is coming and with that heavy
    rain,wind and debris

    has anyone tried the "reel weeds " fish attractors? thats where i got the idea. i think with reel weeds they suggest dropping them in when you go and taking them out when you leave, i was thinking they would hold fish better if they were left in all the time.

    Don't most christmas type stuff like that have a "bailing wire" center...which would rust and degrade very fast in water..
