Default disgruntled fishermen

hasnt happened, but im wondering. hypothetically if you lived on a private lake thats 39 acres, and many homes all around it, would you be upset if you looked out from your back window to see a man sinking brush? or would you just be like, well, i know where im fishin now. gimme your thoughts. this is my situation and as much as i like to fish, i want to make more condos for the fish, but i dont want to upset anybody. its not illegal and as far as i know there isnt a rule here. ive fished her for 6 months religiously and have only seen one other person out there more than once. all others either dont care, or dont fish. any opinions?

well you say it's a "private lake". So..who owns the lake? that would be the person to ask in my view.

its owned by everybody. i guess your back yard extends out to halfway out in the lake. its one of those community owned lakes where everybody makes the decisions in a monthly meeting.

Personally I would welcome efforts by anybody to improve fishing.

Seems to me that ANYONE that lives in that subdivision around the lake can fish the top. The lake belongs to ALL OF YOU! I would probably ask before sinking brush though. (Unless, of course, there would be no doubt about it that it could be done without anyone knowing about it.) I'd hate to have the whole subdivision upset at me. Isnt there some kind of by-laws concerning the lake and it's use?!?
