Thread: Getting to old for this.

Took my bamboo fish habitat today and dropped it. Had 4 bamboo condos that I dropped in 19' water so it will be ready this summer when the crappie go deep and also for next fall and winter when the crappie go deep. These condos where about 12 to 14 foot tall and had right at 80# of concrete in the 5 gallon buckets. This is not a good job for the aging. I just hope that some younger folks will get interested and start doing their part instead of waiting for others to do the work. The old Lake I fish is getting very bald of structure and not very many people build habitat anymore like they use too. Well I dropped all of them within just a few feet from each other and they when straight down and stood straight up. I think this happens with bamboo because the hallow insides holding air inside. Well we will see how good they work this summer when the water gets hot and the crappie go deep and stack up around structure.
