You probably screw them together and make something work
I saw a stack of plastic bread trays behind the high school stadium and got to thinking. These things are about 36 inches square, has slots that could be enlarged for anything you want to sit in them. I'll try some in the spring.

If they are plastic better be careful. They passed a new rule last year on Mississippi lakes, no plastic or PVC.
My son is a Geo Technical Engineer. He uses one to hold the metal cylinders that he test soil compaction, concrete, etc, Also holds 2 liter bottles.

The MS No plastic or PVC rule has been on the books for a few years, as far back as I can remember. There's a rule that only cotton twine can be used to anchor them. The COE always supplies something else.
Funny how Arkansas drinking water lakes in parts of Arkansas only allows PVC .
yea but the Arkansas Women are TUFF
Some here use bread or vegetable trays wired together into crosses with bricks on bottom .
