Default How to kill off a pond?

Hey guys, I have about a 1/3 acre pond that we're about to expand. Is there anyway to kill it off without using rotenone? I can't get ahold of anything less than 5 gallons of rotenone which is quite expensive.

Try your fish and game department. They help with the project.

CARMEX A 5# bag runs @ $40 takes all the oxygen out the water. You can get it at a co op

Awesome, thanks! I'm assuming no lasting affects? 5lbs plenty for 1/3 acre?

Drain it down first and then kill it .

We really don't have a way to drain it.
