make your own pepper oil
You can easily make hot pepper oil, here's what I do:
1. Put 4 Tbsp chili pepper flakes, and 2 tsp chili powder in a heat proof bowl.
2. Heat up 3/4 - 1 cup of vegetable oil in a small sauce pan. Do not let the oil get too hot, otherwise you'll burn the chili.
3. Pour hot oil into the bowl containing chili flakes and chili powder. Stir to mix.
4. After the mixture cool off, strain the oil into a clean bottle, discard the chili.
Note: You can change the heat level by adding or reducing the amount of chili flakes/powder you use. If you want a more fragrant oil, toast some Chinese peppercorn in the small sauce pan before adding oil. Again, be careful, don't burn the peppercorn. If the oil is too hot, let it cool for few minutes, then mixing it with the pepper flakes.
