Default Don't Throw Out Leftover Fried Fish

I have read several articles where members state they don't like leftover fish and usually throw them out. I learned from a fish restaurant employee several years ago that they serve re-fried fish all the time to customers and most customers never know the difference. I decided to try it and have since eaten fried leftover fish several nights in a row by just getting the grease hot and doucing the fish back into the grease just long enough to heat them back up.

We NEVER throw out fish. If we cook too much, everybody sucks it up and just eats more. If it gets to where we really can't eat any more, we make nice plates and leave them on the neighbor's back porch. He works late and usually can't make it to our fish fries, but he says he loves it when he gets home and finds a plate of crappie on the steps waiting for him .

I take my leftover fried fish, break it up and put it on a flour tortilla. Add some cobly-jack cheese, some tony chacheres and micro. Then some salsa and roll it up. mmmm good.
