Default Perfectly round hushpuppies

For quick, perfectly round hushpuppies, I use a "watermelon" scoop. If you've never seen one, it looks like a small ice-cream scoop.

You can put a lot of pups in the grease quick and it makes them all the same size.

I drop them by hand. Turns out round hush puppys. And I can drop them fast. Used to cook in a catfish restaurant when I was a kid. And when you drop enough to feel a few hundred people per night. You get fast.
