We just got an air fryer a couple weeks ago. Have only fried chicken in ours so far. I was surprised at how good it really was. The only draw back is it had spots where it didn't brown the flour. Just spray those spots with a little olive oil 2 or 3 minutes before done. My wife was gonna fry crappie in it a few days ago and I wouldn't let her..... didn't seem right.

thanks Chad, cause I haven't purchased an air fryer yet. just wanna hear from someone that has fried with it (crappies) as opposed to frying with oil.

The one draw back to it is, it cooks fairly small portions at a time. I think it held 4 thighs. I'm guessing it might cook about 6 crappie fillets at a time. I can eat twice that. Lol. But that's about all a fry daddy will cook at once as well. Who knows.

If I could come up with another rack that would be awesome. Would be able to double up.
