We have had our air fryer for a couple of months also. With the burner on top, I tease the wife that’s it’s a broiler with a big fan blowing down on the food to be cooked. Works great on frozen burgers, sausage patties, brauts, French fries, potatoe patties, bacon, chicken wings, chicken, we did rib eye steaks, but prefer grilling them over charcoal or wood. Even quick hotdogs and pop the buns in for a minute. Cornish hens work great. Grilled cheese and grilled ham/cheese, Ruben sandwiches are really good. Be sure to extra butter your bread. You can cook,about any thing in it. I haven’t tried Crappie as I just don’t know and like mine baked or deep fried. One thing we found we didn’t care for was fresh cut French frys,,,they were pretty tasteless and I love mine fried in peanut oil. Let me know how the crappies work out as we are continually experimenting with ours.
