This is what I use when I have to make it.The wife likes her fish with tarter sauce. She likes this.

    1/2 cup Kraft Mayonnaise
    1/4 cup Sweet Pickle Relish
2 Tbsp Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
    1 Tbsp Sugar
    1/2 tsp dry minced Parsley
    1/4 tsp Onion Powder

You can add some lemon zest if you like a lemon flavor.
Mix all the ingredients together and store in your fridge.

Go to your local Frisch's (or Shoney's) Big Boy and buy their tartar sauce .Krogers and some other groceries also sell it.
I make homemade if we're out of Frisch's but their recipe can't be beat. Great on burgers, too, which is what they use on the Big Boy. - Roberta

All recipes are similar to my own...one ingredient is not included in any..I use a couple of shakes of worchester sauce in mine...doesn't look right until you mix it in...then it tastes really good.

    Good Luck,
