    Default Crappie The Day After

We use to cook the Crappie up and have a good feed and then what was left over we would stick in the Ice box and the next day break them up in a salad. With your favorite dressing they are great . Just a good way to use the leftovers Ron

Sounds pretty good MTM. I always make sure there's some left over every time I cook fish. I just ask the wife to leave them on the back of the stove covered with a paper towel and eat 'em the next day too. Only thing better was when they were first fried to me!

sounds good. I like crappie salad sandwiches.
when I grow up I want to be, one of the harvesters of the sea. I think before my days are done, I want to be a fisherman.

You just about can't beat a fried fillet on a piece of white bread.

I usually stick my leftover fish in the oven for a few minutes. It gets them hot and crispy again, almost as good as fresh cooked.....

    Default Good Info

I was going to fry mine up today, cause I just thawed them out yesterday. I was not up to eating them cause I ate pizza. I wish I knew the leftovers can be used for salad. NE ways I will be frying them tommorrow.

If you want them the next day freeze them and then put em in an oven on 350 till they warm up. Theyll still be crunchy and moist.
