Default Propane cooker help!!!!!

i bought one of the Cajun Cookers from Bass Pro. The cooker works great but the second time i used it i got a horrible burning odor from the regulator where it connects to the propane tank. THis is not a propane smell but a chemical burning smell that will burn your eyes and take your breath. Tried several tanks and have the same issue. Anybody ever had this happen before???
