your just the person i was looking for...
do those need to be green? I have never raised them before, and i have several that turned red, didnt know if that was normal or not.

I just primarly cook with them.

This is one of my favorite ways to use jalapenos, the rest of them i use in cooking recipes

far as the color of the peppers it could be the variety of the pepper or it was left on the vine longer as it changes color

split peppers, clean out stuff with cream cheese. wrap with turkey bacon (pork is way too greasy). bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Default CLOSE to speckfinder's but not

Do the same thing, split in half and clean them out. Take 1 softened block of cream cheese and add in some chopped green onion tops, dash of salt, dash of black pepper and a few drops of yo fav hot sauce. Mix thouroughly and st aside. Now, place either (depends on what ya have available) one of those little smokie sausages split in half OR a teaspoon or so of some pulled pork. Fill the Jalapeno with the cream cheese mix, wrap in bacon and toothpick it good. Best part now. Get your charcoal grill to medium hot and grill, turning, once the bacon is done on one side. We call 'em ABT's Atomic Buffalo Turds. LOL some mighty fine eating right there

    Ready2fish,
Cooked 36 the other night. I cut the top off and take an old potato peeler and clean out the seeds and the veins. Fry some Sweet Italian Sausage, mix it with cream cheese, Stuff peppers and bake in oven for about 35 min. check on them at about 25 min. If you want the peppers softer cook them alittle longer..
Picked up one of those pepper cookers at BPS and you can just stand them up in it..
But you can lay them on a baking sheet.
    Hope you enjoy
Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown tomorrow.
