this probably aint what your looking for but it is good, not healthy but good. I only use the smaller okras no more than about an two inches long. Put some bacon grease in a frying pan just enough to cover the bottom good, get it hot and throw in the okra (whole) and saute' them for just a couple minutes until they are tender, remove from heat and deglaze with some apple cider vinegar (or whatever kind you like, balsimic is good too), salt and pepper them bad boys and eat 'em while they're still hot
