I know I always seem to have better luck when using an attractant, hopefully I can use the "Shad Scales".

Using Johnson Fish Scales helps attract crappie by sense of smell and sight. Great stuff!

Have used attractants on lures and live baits and have seen varying results. Most of the time it works and other times it doesn't seem to make a difference. Have never seen it make it worse. Have been told by old timers that you need to spit on you baits.

I've used crappie nibbles and they work. Can't wait to try these!

Have never tried the shad scales, but I use the bango spray in the garlic scent.Use it on my baits and on my hands first thing on the water.
