Digital Photography has exploded in all directions since it became available in the early 1990s. Equipment costs, size, and weight have plunged. At the same time, image quality, camera features, and storage capacity have skyrocketed. Anyone can afford a digital camera today, but most owners don't get maximum value out of their cameras because they don't understand or use many of the camera's features. Perhaps, the greatest feature of digital over film cameras is the ability to post digital image files online and share them with others--especially when those images include large crappies, a fiery sunset, the smile on face of a child who just caught his or her first fish, or countless other subjects of interest to fishermen.
