I Mostly Fish For Crappie, But The Other Day We Were Fishing In A Cove And Started Seeing These Red Limb Line Poles Stuck On A Lot Of Trees, They Looked Factory With A Metal Clip You Drive Into The Tree Then Stick'em In The Holder Any You Cat Guys Ever See These????? Just Curious What Or Who Makes Them?

sounds like trot lining but i think thats illegal and if it is i dont think i would make sumthin like that so obvious

Sounds like 'set-poles' similar to the ones we used to use with switch cane stuck in a bank at an angle with a single line and 1 hook baited for catfish and would set a dozen or so along a bank we could walk down or run from a boat.
