still trying to get my others from my crashed pc but heres my avatar pic just a little bigger so you can actually see the fish and they were released alive in a large farm pond only flathead's i have ever kept

Flatheads sure fry up nice ! I release mine in hot oil one fillet at a time.:D

lol yeah we have made up our minds i believe we are gonna keep alot more this year we have found a few people wanting them for a 1 to 3 dollars a pound depending on size i need the extra cash and i dont mind helping people stock ponds lol

but i still havent eaten one because they are from the ohio river only fish i eat from it are walleye and sauger if i ever get to a clean lake more often like burnsville i would probally eat a few then

Why not ? If you eat Walleye and Sauger ? Flatheads eat live bait too . I would eat mostly smaller ones though if your worried about contamination. Because larger predator fish tend to consentrate more contaminates in their flesh the older they get.

blood was coming from their lips from a stringer poked through if were gonna keep and release fish we dont run stringers through their gills lol

and they all lived and were gonna do alot more this year

and good point nimrod but we have been finding theese tiny leach like parisites on just flatheads yyou have to look really close but they are there i would eat one if they were from a lake and didnt have them

jamie you will see that the nimrod thing was to the person nimrod and yeah you saw my pics all over mastercaters where you post alot but i left that site because they run tournaments in a bad way lets just say they let esdaddy cheat and his vids and pics of him holding fish are either mine or someone elses fish

anyhow your the one all bent out of shape for nothing so next time your taging fish think of me keeping them because thats what your really mad about isnt it
