Does Anyone Fish The Arkansas Or Mississippi Rivers For Catfish

I go to Webbers Falls in Oklahoma several times a year on the Arkansas river where the Illinios runs into it and we have good luck using fresh caught shad or 5to7 inch minnows. We mostly catch blues but do catch a few channels and flat heads. So there ought to be good fishing all up and down the Arkansas river.

I fish dam 2 on the lower arkansas, we catch blues and flatheads, large numbers
starting in march. this is the last dam before you get to the mississippi, we use shad
and skip jacks caught with a cast net.
