Default I wanted to go crappie fishing

I wanted to go crappie fishing but there was too much fresh water. So I went catfishing instead. Caught 61# 5 oz Op. Upper Toledo Bend. Released back to lake on 7/06/2007




Caught 14# 14 oz Op Upper Toledo Bend. Dressed and had fish fry on 7/10/2007

Now thats a big kitty looks like it got you a little wet too.
I am over near monroe and thinking about doing a little
catfishing over here. Jugs and pole what size of a hook
would you use for each?

I use jugs tied to tree limbs and stumps to keep them in place 6/0 Eagle Claw ss os hooks on #36 twine. Hand size bream for bait. I use railroad spikes for anchors if I can't tie to something. I use 2/0 Circle hooks for rod fishing
