Here's a link to a big carp tournament from last year. In 50 hours, the winning team caught over 2,800 pounds of carp. The total for all teams was 36,346 pounds -- or about 18 tons!
And they didn't even weigh fish under ten pounds!

nice
carp fishing is really catching on here finally i just made a batch of tuti fruti 20mm boilies
i ordered a good bit of mix and scents from k1baits.com great guy to deal with knows his stuff and is an avid carper good prices fast shipping also
gonna put those boilies to the test tomorrow and cant wait also got 2 4 pole rod pods and the audible bit alarms to fit it my Penn bait runners already have alarms this is just something extra to make sure i hear it
is that a bite...YEAH FISH DONT HAVE HANDS
I have never used boilies or a "rod pod/bite alarm" set up. I may break down and get that sort of outfit one day, though. :D
I mostly float fish for carp. Occasionally, I fish a swimfeeder.
Always use corn for bait.
