Thread: Skunk at Lake Henshaw

Hit Lake Henshaw last week before the temperature got to 80s. Fished for 4-5 hours starting at 10:00am. Got 0 bite.According to the lady at the tackle store, the crappie biting has not started yet this year. But isn't Spring supposed to be the best season for crappie fishing? or should I wait until the temperature is consistently above 70s?

Has anybody had any success at Lake Henshaw recently?

From what I hear Henshaw is usually best in November, that is the only time I have fished there. It should start to get good if it is going to be good. I know that the rest of the S.D lakes are doing well.
