San Joaquin River 6/07
I went fishing to the river @ Hwy. 165 from noon till 5:30 pm. Our total fish caught were 17 'gills,20 green sunfish, one warmouth and one channel catfish. They were caught in around five feet deep near partially submerged trees. My dad was using crawlers and redworms while I was using crawlers. The green sunfish are over 6 inches long, The biggest is around 8- 10 inches long, which is big for a green sunfish. I released many small 'gills and sunfish. The gills are in the 5-6 inch range.
Panfishing is fun!
